I purchased this recently on eBay, but the seller took so long to ship it to me that I talked myself into buying a different color. A top-shelf welding helmet is a large and lengthy (my co-worker's Satellite is 7 years old and still in fine shape) investment for me and since I'm fickle I want a more unique color that I will be happier with. This helmet was sold to me as brand new, and I have no reason to doubt the veracity of that claim. The original box is a little ratty since it was used for shipping and for whatever reason it came to me without the manual, but the film is still on the lens, the extra covers come with it and there are no signs that anything more serious than unpacking it has ever happened. I don't know if GJ is a wide enough market for this, but I thought I'd give it a shot at saving me the headache of an eBay listing.
These Swiss-made helmets are very, very nice. I got a good price for this one and all I want is what I have into it so I can buy the same hood in a different color: $300 SHIPPED via paypal
