New guy been lurking here for quite a while, joined the forum today to post questions. Been looking for a best bang for buck floor coating, need protection from water, oil, salt and winter road chemicals. Residential garage used for amature auto restoration, steel wheeled jacks and engine lifts. SPGX seems to fit the bill for protection and at a reasonable price, been searching but haven't found too many posts by people who have used it. Anyone have any issues with application or any other issues? How long is it expected to last?

Hi
We have been selling SPGX for many, many years. It was selected as the coating of choice at the NYC 9-11 Memorial Museum which we read just had it's 5th millionth visitor. The floor looks great still with zero issues. They clean it daily with chemicals and many thousands of people per day track all kinds of stuff in on it.

To our knowledge we have never had a failure or premature wearing out of the floor. It's actually an industrial grade product so in a residential application it should last for a minimum of 10-15 years, and possibly much longer depending on usage and care. No vendor or coating manufacturer can really guarantee a life span due to the many variables on surfaces such as slab condition, weather/exposure, care, usage etc. It's sort of like trying to answer 'how long will this car last', just too many variables to reliably answer that!

SPGX is Polyurea hybrid. These types of coatings are even more resistant to chemicals and such than urethanes which have outstanding chemical resistance. SPGX is a terrific value in our opinion, hence why it is so popular.

Feel free to email us at [email protected] for full technical data. Thank you!

Hi
As a general rule we don't comment on other company's products. We have full technical information available (please email us at [email protected]) so you can review and determine how the products may differ. Our product is a super resistant Polyurea hybrid that is very easy to apply at a very competitive per sq foot price.

Thank you!
