A pic from recently completed install of over 6,000 sq feet of SPGX clear coat selected by a Long Island NY fire Dept after evaluating over ten different coatings for durability, minimal marking and scuffing, wear when parking 70,000 lb fire engines, resistance to oils, chemicals and salts, moisture resistance and installed cost.
The coating was applied to a previously coated floor that had an epoxy quartz broadcast system that had failed due to floor moisture issues and that our Prep Crete Division removed and then grinded the floor smooth.
A non skid addititive was also used to reduce slippage when wearing rubber boots.
