Been lurking for a while reading as much as possible on coatings and sealers, leaning towards Armorpoxy SPGX. Anyone have any issues with SPGX? I'm doing two coats on my 420sqf floor any idea on real world coverage, floor is power trowled and will be pressure washed etched and washed again.

Hi
The only 'issue' we have encountered with SPGX is that there can be slight variations in the clear 'shade' so the instructions recommend mixing all of the material together in a container to assure color-even-ness. While this is a rare occurence, taking this extra step eliminates the problem.

The tinted version we have not encountered this problem ever. Thank you!

Thanks, haven't decided if I'm going with color or acid stain and clear. Any comments on coverage for 420sqf two costs?

Coverage runs about 300 sq ft/gal on the first coat, 350-400 on the 2nd coat. Three gals should probably suffice.

what are the recommendations for floor stain under spgx - type, limitations ?

do you guys sell a compatible stain yourselves ?

Would a tinted spgx behave like a stain since it soaks in various amounts and is transparent ?

Hi
We don't carry stains since they are so readily available. No limitations on type or product. SPGX can't be tinted semi transparent. We do offer some colors to make it opaque. Thank you!
