I am a retired Engr. that worked a 3M for almost 40 years. I have just rebuilt my house after a very large fire. We lost everything. I am trying to get an idea of the price of a set of Snap-on tool that were my fathers this set was bought in 1950. I have found the set in the 1950 T Catalog on page 14. The set was 5228-GS-B. This set was a total loss and went to the dump with everything else. I would also like to know what it would cost to replace it. I do not know if that is even possible. The real value of the set was it was my fathers and he passed in 1970 so the replacement is only to say I have the same set.
