the rust bullet thread reminded me. i'm sure the answer is no:
has anyone seen the results of painting concrete with a rustproofing paint like Rustoleum/POR15/etc? I know it's a dumb thought. but i've had spots on the floor that don't look like they're ever going to wear away, like they somewhat absorbed into the concrete. maybe solvent spills would kill it?
I won't be the guinea pig. but i'm curious if anyone's seen it. Knowing my parents had moderate success in the past with normal house paint on the floor of their garage (except hot tire spots), and that rustoleum is way tougher than that paint, I'd be surprised if nobody's ever tried it
