According to Morton buildings my concrete should go four inches up from the bottom of the splash board. I am puting 2 inch foamboard verticaly down along walls. I am having 5 to inches of concrete poured. My question is do I need to put another 2x6 below the current splash board to back up the foam board. Or will the sort back fill be enough since only one inch will be without a wood backer.
