Found this. Wondering if the quality is good, or if there is a better spline set out. Only other one I know of is the mastercraft line by Stanly...

That set might be from SK bankruptcy days or NOS---it isn't listed on the website or on SK online sellers like Tooltopia, Toolwarehouse.net, Advance Auto parts, etc.---members have mentioned quality issues from that time period.

same old rumors as always. your experiance may vary but i have never heard any complaints on the spline socket sets. they seem to date from before the issues with other items, wrenches and sockets being the most commonly faulted items.

SK tools sure look nice. In practice though I haven't been too impressed. I kept my Craftsman polished wrenches over a large SK wrench set I acquired. The open ends were wider and resulted in some spreading on some bolts. The socket set I had, of the 45 or so sockets, quite a few I want to say upwards of 15 didn't even have a detent in them, and this was in Dec or Jan of this year, so new product.

I have no direct experience with the SK spline drive sets--only mentioned that because the eBay seller that the OP linked to is on my watch list (fast shpg,great packing of items)and saw that set months ago. I did some looking to compare prices and couldn't find the sets for sale anywhere! I just wonder why the sets aren't made anymore so didn't pull the trigger.

Hmm... interesting. That is a nice set! I wonder if the new Ideal-owned S-K will reintroduce a spline socket set in the near future.

if you a really good spline socket set, look at the proto or mac sets. Expensive but they are excellent.

And for the price the chinese craftmans universal are pretty good ones actually. And their pass through universal is another good options also for spline. Covers deep sockets needs. And will used their max axxess extensions if you need more reach.
