I have a nice 30A miller gun for my 252. We have made some bigger aluminum stuff like trailers and is a great tool, but for $1,000 its more than most guys need for garage projects.

Unless you plan on laying down a lot of aluminum, save your money for tools you will use more often.

That's my take. If your building AL trailers it would pay for itself in one job. Otherwise pass on it.

I have the 3035 and have used the 30A - 30A is a great tool. For the amount I use my spool gun the 3035 is good enough and if I really need it I know where to go to use a 30A.

The cost of a 30A was why I bought the 210 instead of the 252. 99% of the time my setup is more than enough. For those few times there are ways around it or go talk to someone that has the bigger setup.
