Existing garage slab is fine, has been sealed in the past with an unknown sealer. Home and slab is 50 years old.

Some parts of the slab surface are starting to show water is not beading.

Does anybody have a reference for how to proceed with a reseal? Is it ok to spot reseal? Is it ok to spray sealer down on top of old sealer?

( I'm not interested in epoxy or urethane finishes. Will most likely be using V-Seal 101 or something similar. )

Some sealers may not be compatible with what is on the floor. 99% of the time we would just reocmmend a reseal of the entire floor since wherever you reseal will look very different due to how it absorbs in.
