I cannot find any spray foam gun cleaner in stock for the past couple months. Home Depot lowes ace Walmart Amazon all OOS by me. Any idea what’s going on? Is it just NY? I finally found some on Amazon but it’s $14 a can and a brand I’ve never used. Any other ways to clean out spray foam guns?

Try making up some "Ed's Red Gun Bore Cleaner”. I haven't used anything else in the pass thirty years to clean rifles, pistols or shotguns. Be aware when using around plastic and wood.

I tried acetone and compressed air last time and had to toss that gun. It looked pretty clean but the ball was all gummed up. It’s been like this for atleast 6 months never came in stock

OP, check with a larger distributor (contractor lumber yard) that mostly deals with contractors.
I think the same cleaner works on the adhesive type foam as well and a lot of guys are using that for the sub floors in place of tube glue.
I've also seen a good variety of foam gun ''stuff" at a drywall/steel stud distributors.

I've come to the conclusion that depending on your use, eventually your chucking it out despite your best efforts. Same goes for the unused cans in that case you bought. 😫
Like milk, check the dates before you walk out of the store.

I had a gun last one big project and I felt like I cleaned the heck out of it, even for overnight-2 day breaks. Despite using all that cleaner, the gun was junk the next time I tried to use it. And it was a great stuff gun, great stuff cleaner and great stuff construction adhesive.

Not a cheap thing to toss away, but I did run two cases of adhesive through it, so I'm still very glad I had it over caulking guns. Not sure i would get another short of building a house

what's so hard about taking the gun apart, or filling the gun / wand with acetone and jamming an air hose up against its back end?

Surely there is SOME way of putting pressurized acetone thru the tip.

/troubleshooting and improvising really isn't that difficult
