so finally getting my pole building garage insulated its 40x48 over all and 40x16 has scissor truss and the 32x40 is normal truss 4ft center.
The ceiling of the garage will be tin. So question is should i make the attic conditioned or not. Meaning spray the foam on the tin ceiling and vent the rest or spray to the roof its self and have no vents. I feel like if you spray to roof thats wasted space you are heating? On the scissor truss side foam will be to the roof just because there isnt much room so im asking more for the 32x40 part and i know there will be a transition spot that will need insulated if i do foam to ceiling.
Also i looked into blow insulation but the guy said it was about the same price to do spray foam what do you guys think? right now his price is $2 per square ft for 2in of foam.
