Spray paint for Wilton model 746 vice

Doing a repair/restoration on my Wilton model 746 vice and it currently has the "hammered metal" light blue paint that was its original color. Would like to find as close a match as possible and was looking for some ideas

I use Rustloeum Verde Green to get as close as I can to the original color of the Wilton Bullets. I've also used Hammered Light Blue and Safety Red for the mechanic's Vises.

The Rustolium Hammered Light Blue is only available from the Big Box hardware store by the case of (6) cans for $35 or on the well know action site for $15 per 1 can !! Guess I can buy a case and sell the rest...................SIGH, Should not be this hard to restore a bench vise

I found light blue at my local hardware store. They didn't have it on the shelf, but they ordered it and got it the next day for $6.99. They couldn't get the Verde Green though

Try calling your local store and ask if they can order it.

I usually just stand in front of the Paint Prison at Lowes & see what appeals to me. I've used at least 8 or 9 different colors for vises.

I know I thought the same thing about the Hammered light Blue Rustolium at Lowes, but the "fine print" states the following: Rust-Oleum Stops Rust 12-oz Verde Green Spray Paint $5.87

You must order this item in multiples of 6

I wonder if you bought 6 online, if you could return 4 of them at the store?

Not sure where you are located, but Menards stocks individual cans of the Verde Green. I had to ship a couple to my brother in Seattle as he has the same issue and could only find them in 6-packs as well.

I've bought individual cans of Verde Green in California from Lowes.

Pretty sure I bought the hammered light blue at my local Ace Hdwr.
$8 or so
