Is there a way to spray foam out of a pro-style foam gun (that use the 20-24oz cans upside down) so I can shoot it vertically? Maybe use a piece of vinyl tubing bent up? I have seen a can adapter that has a short hose that screws onto the gun but that is crazy expensive.

If "spray" meaning something similar to a spray foam results, no. It's a crack/void sealing foam and most of them are "low expansion" and primarily used around windows and doors where expansion is not good.

Interesting. I did some internet scouring and didn’t see any cans of “high expansion” foam in the pro-size 24-30oz cans. Only in the small 12oz cans with the plastic straw.
