Spring lawn maintainence

Dog finally nabbed the groundhog in the yard but left a bunch of holes.
I like the idea of mixing seed and topsoil and filling in the lows spots.

I actually got more snow today.
It's still going to be a while before I will need to worry about grass.

core aeration, thatching and overseeding. Miloganite as fertilizer. If you go to your local county's extension office they offer soil testing. You take multiple "plugs" out of your yard and put it in a sack and they will send it off and tell you what you need to to yield good results (IE: pasture land, residential lawn, baseball field etc)

how much **** I pulled out of my lawn from detaching

This year so far after dethatching, core aeration and overseeding. This is mostly Fescue and this was taken over the weekend. It is starting to take shape. not sure why the bottom of the pic got cut off?
