I need a good spring strut compressor. I looked at the harbor freight one but I am not crazy with some of the reviews and its overall appearance. So far I have seen OTC, KD, and JEGS brands on the internet. I would like to know if they are any good, which is the best of the three, and if there are any other brands out there that are better, thanks.

Go rent one from advanced. They come in a cool box and are quality. Then just don't bring it back...

I used the HF springs compressor the cheap pair that is $15 and it worked fined to compressed the springs on my older BMW springs. A month later, I started to work on the struts on my Honda a I bought the OTC tool springs compressor. I bought OTC springs compressor for safety reason in mind. However, when I tried to compressed spring on the Honda, it did NOT compress. I ended up using the HF springs compressor once again. HF springs compressor work great for a DIY, just slowly with ratchet.
