Spyderco customer service is awesome!

So I have had various spyderco knives since I was a teenager. I have three that are probably close to 20 years old. Over the years I've lost a few screws that hold the pocket clips onto the knife body. I contacted customer support and almost as soon as I get done hitting submit, my inbox has a new email.

I thought for sure it would be an automated, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Nope, it was Noah, he asked me what style screw and how many I need. Just have to send my address and he will mail them out free of charge.

I call that great customer service!

Yep, I've been a Spyderco collector for over a decade. They're not just a company, they're a good group of people. I met Sal Glesser and his son Eric at a knife show years ago. I didn't expect him to actually spend any time with me, but he spent 30 minutes talking my ear off, showing me prototypes of knives they had coming out that year, and telling me about which ones he was the most excited about. Joyce Laituri is another Spyderco employee that really knows what customer service is about, if she's still there.

Spyderco does have excellent customer service. That's the difference between brands. Multiple knife companies have similar high quality knives, but the main differences between them are the cs.

As an update, they not only sent me enough screws for all my knives, but they sent some thread locker and a sticker. Everything arrived in a couple of days, I just forgot to update.

I have carried and used Spyderco knifes for years and can't say enough good about the product. Good quality, and great customer service as stated in other post.

what spyderco knife would you guys recommend as a good all around everyday use flip knife?
