square d qo panel.....flush or surface mount

Went to the big box store and picked what I need to get electric to my barn this weekend which included a Square D QO 100 Amp value pack panel. Its going to be fed off of a 60 amp breaker in the main panel at the house. Surface mounting and running EMT.
Out of the box I like it! But what I'm hung up on now is the cover. Lowes is saying that the one I got is for flush mount. If you were to buy just a blank panel, same identical one, it can be surface mounted.

I don't think the panel cares if it's surface or flush mounted. the cover has an overlap on it but that shouldn't matter to surface mount.

Schneider electric (who might be expected to know..) claims it has a combination cover.

Thanks DSCHEIDT! I took it out of the main box and the cover has its own box that I dont think I could open without tearing up too bad. I'm the kinda of person if I think I'm going to have to return something I don't want to go all savage on the packaging lol.
