Gentlemen, I'm looking for a square drive ratcheting screwdriver handle. Either 1/4" or 3/8" drive. Does anybody make one? I can find non ratcheting handles all day.

I know i can buy any ratcheting screwdriver in a hex drive and use a square drive adapter, but I'd rather have a dedicated square drive.

Found one. This is what I'm looking for, but I'm not interested in paying snapon prices.

I have a Kobalt ratcheting handle, it uses 1/4" drive female, but it ends at the handle; not length beyond that. it comes with a set of nut drivers that are 1/4" that fit in the handle, but they are the crappy std/metric combo so they really don't fit anything very well.

It may do what you want, but I don't really recommend it, it's kind of junky plastic, a little too big, and not a great ratcheting mechanism...

looks like it may be discontinued, the one on their site is not the same.

Check eBay for a Snap On like that. I'm pretty sure most pro brands make them.

Alternatively have you considered roto ratchets? That's what I use when I want a ratchet screwdriver. I bought the Crescent set with 1/4 and 3/8 from Cripedistributing for $26 shipped I think. It is the same exact thing as Gearwrench and they work really well. http://www.cripedistributing.com/ha...cent-crw17-2-pc-1-4-3-8-roto-ratchet-set.html

I would try a PBSwiss one. I have heard that they are one of the best.

This Gearwrench set is the best value out there. My opinion? Buy a snap on ratcheting driver, convert it to interchangeable shaft as shown on a couple of threads here, use the gearwrench shafts in the snap on driver.

I just bought one of these, to do exactly that with a Snap on ratcheting driver I picked up for $0.25 at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago.

What ssdave said.
There is a thread here about converting them.
It's fairly simple.
