I want to make or buy a square rubber jack pad for the 2 Ton Hein Werner floor jack.

I have seen a few pictures of people that have come up with their own solutions. I want to either find one that fits perfectly or I will have to make one, which would mean making a mould of the saddle and then learning how to make things out of hard rubber haha. I have tried a hockey puck but I don't like how there is a lot of room for it to move around.

I noticed one Member ImportTuner has done this and it looks pretty decent but I would like to have the metal completely covered or as much as possible.

So has anyone else tried to do some sort of rubber saddle cover / insert with a square jack saddle?

Correct.......you remove your's and put this one on. And, put the original back on when the "soft touch" is no longer needed. It lifts on and lifts off, and swivels.

Looks like they don't have a match. The saddle diameter is 6-3/4"

Why are they saying the saddle diameter is 6-3/4'' ?

How do have a diameter of a square object?

I'm thinking you should measure the length and width of the square pad and then go back and visit the Protech link.

My Dad took a chunck of a tire tread and cut it to size and that works nice. Maybe not the prettiest, but if you happen to find a newer tire it would be better.
