I've got a project I'm working on to make some steel pistol targets. I've seen some that use two pieces of Angle Iron welded together to be square on the ends for the riser but it seems like a lot of additional work. What I wanted to do was just use steel square tubing to do the job. A little more material but no work involved. What gauge of 2" square tubing fits the tightest around a 1 3/4" piece of square tube? I know they make DOM square tubing or nesting tubing but I would like to look into the standard welded square tubing first to keep cost as low as possible.
