Squirrel-Chewed Trailer Wiring

I've got a 10x6 DIY-level Utility with flat-4 wiring. A couple of times a year the squirrels manage to chew up enough wiring so I have to do some rewiring. Does anyone have any ideas for wiring or wiring techniques to avoid/prevent this?

Conduit where possible. You might try stainless steel braided sleeving where you need it to be flexible.

I used flexible conduit on the trailer when we had dogs that chewed up the wiring. I don't know if one is better or cheaper but that was what I had laying around.
