I swear the last time I bought some they were dirt cheap everywhere. Just tried ordering a few and not so much anymore. After some digging I found that Anchor makes nice affordable ones. The best place I found to get them...Staples believe it or not. Free ship to store, or free shipping over $20, and I got an instant 9% discount after adding to my cart.

Shoe handle style, $2.29 reg price, $2.08 discount.

Curved style handle, $2.49 reg, $2.12 discount.


There's another site that sells them for like $1.75, but you have to buy by the case and pay shipping.

If you're looking for other welding supplies as well, then check out Weldingsupply.com. They have the brushes, as well as the small toothbrush sized one.

Nothing mind blowing here, but it really hurts when you walk into the local store, and they want $10 for one.

huh. I notice http://www.staples.com/product_709982?externalize=certona is marked 1.99 for a box of 12.. probably a mistake.. wonder if you get 12 when you order? the rest are all priced each.

Might be if you click on the carbon steel ones the price for 12 goes up to 15.99. To bad don't really need that many ss brushes. Oh the shipping was 9.95

Maybe, but 12/box usually just means that there's 12/box. Zoro does this too for bulk items like painters tape; they tell you how many is in a case for some reason, but you're ordering by the unit.

Honestly didn't notice the Anderson ones, only saw them in carbon steel. I just ordered 1 of each....we'll see what happens.
