Stack of Solid Doors -- what can I use them for?

Not wanting a bargain to go away, at an Auction last year I bidded $20 for a
stack of Solid Core doors thinking I could do something with them.
They are heavy and new.

I've put them on a workbench just to get them in the dry and out of the way.

Now I pondering on what in the world can I do with them.
Got some suggestions?????

Thanks

Carl

Solid doors make nice tables in general. Permanent legs, removable legs from threaded pipe, drop down work table hung with chains. Heck, you might even make doors with 'em! :)

Cut them into shelving. Support them with angle iron framing and you have the strongest cheapest shelving possible.

My brother lives in a rental house that has an outdoor "bonus room" The walls are all solid core doors instead of drywall. Probably not code, but saves money, and looks quite interesting. I keep telling him he should buy a bunch of used door handles and install them on all the doors. Problem with that is he'd never get back in the house after a few beers.

Those are definitely solid and heavy.
I could barely lift just one and put it on a hand truck.

Much heavier than Lauan doors or even metal doors with a frame around them.

I live in Advance, NC. Purchased them last December at an Auction of a
constrution company that went out of business. Same place I purchased
my Delta Unisaw with Biesemeyer fence and several other hand tools.
Love going to auctions for tools:)

Save what you're going to use, then keep an eye on CL for 2x6..HD or Lowes for oops.. paint, then build some work benches for friends or family for Christmas or Birthdays. Inexpensive and fun to build. Pretty sure a solid workbench would be well received by most Guys! Or you could just sell them for:beer: Money..

Use them, I have 2 rooms in my house that are "safe" rooms. Solid core doors, ball bearing hinges, reinforced jams, and deadbolt locks. These are rooms we can get to quickly, lock the door, and have all of the "supplies" necessary to ward off most issues.

In addition these are rooms that can be locked when we are away. Keeps whoever is watching the house out of them, or keeps someone who breaches the alarm at bay for a short period of time.

If you can't figure out a project, send 'em to me! You got a great deal on those - congratulations.
