Looks like the last picture right down to the messy garage.

I only have random install manuals in the top shelf, so it is not overloaded. This is not intentional, just where those happened to end up. The rest have ratches, sockets, utility knives, etc in them. Working just fine for me.

Funny you say that. I also have a 52" Husky box that I got as a great deal on close-out. I really need to spend more time and organize these a lot better because I get a few drawers done but then others sit with random **** in them.

So with the mentioning of flipping the top box over and mounting the drawers to what would be considered upside down, has anyone done this? I already have one of the boxes and was considering the upper box to be purchased soon. Recently came across a lower box in slightly used condition for 200 bucks. I am in a single car garage and have a lot of storage issues considering my mother in law lives with me.

Flip both boxes upside-down, bolt to the wall. Leave the bottom (wide, originally top) drawer upside down. Built in slide-out step.

Or flip drawer right-side up, put a "cover" on it and have step with storage.

With so many great threads on this forum I am constantly coming across older ones like this where the photos are gone. I'd love to see what this project looked like if the pics are still around somewhere.
