Stacking QuickJacks for MC lift

So I'm looking to purchase a set of these, Quickjack BL-5000.

I'm also thinking about a way to stack them and use them as a MC lift. Currently that would be for my 70's CB350's and occasionally my 03 BMW RT1150.

I know there would be some fab work involved but for those of you that have these can you see it working?

seems like an incredible waste of money.

Why not buy a regular MC lift for a fraction of the price?

Well the primary goal is to lift my cars.

In a 20 x 22 garage that holds 2 cars, 2 to 3 motorcycles and storage racks there isn't room for a dedicated MC lift. Oh and one corner of the garage is cut off at a 45 degree angle.

I know there is a top piece available to cover the two lifts side by side to make a MC lift. That gives a lift height of 20 inches. My preference would be higher than that.

So back to the question ...... or not.

IMO not wide enough to stack & lift/work on a motorcycle even if you clamped them together. Too much chance of falling to the side.

A better option, if you don't have space for a dedicated bike lift, would be to design a platform you could breakdown for storage & assemble for lifting the bikes on. You could design it to use the 20" lift of your BL-5000 to bring it to working height.

I just went out and measured my lift. It's set at 26" which is where I use it most of the time.

4' x 8' x 3/4" plywood with 2" x 6" framing underneath(think of a stud wall laying down) set on top of the lift gets you to roughly 26". Strong enough to mount tie downs to and cheap.

You could buy the motorcycle lift adapter kit from quickjack or like above build your own for way cheaper out of wood
