As WV said. When it comes to these types of tools, theres really no reason to chase deals on Amazon.com. The regular prices on Amazon.de will usually beat the .com 'deals'.

One additional thing to consider:

Prices in Germany are always shown with the value added tax (the German Mehrwertsteuer) already included. You buy clothes, electronics, a car - VAT is always included by default.

If I remember correctly, I think that when you order on Amazon.de to an address in the US, they automatically remove the VAT. This is actually 19%.

You may want to try to put something in your cart and go to checkout, to verify this.

I have that set and love it. I generally like Gedore's metal cases better, but the Hazet set is great.

However Im not too pleased with the way Amazon.de package items. Ordered from them twice, and both times tools were packaged by a 12 year old. I just hate laziness.

Nothing was damaged, but could have easily get, the way they package my tools.

I've had a few items I've ordered in the last month from amazon.de come via Royal Mail (then final delivery by USPS). It's been taking about 2-2.5 weeks from ship date to when it arrives. Some of my more expensive orders have come DHL, with final delivery by USPS. Those take about a week from ship date to arrival. I'm still waiting on another package that was first handled by DHL Germany which seems to use a different tracking number system than regular DHL and I can't figure out where it went once it left Germany.

I ordered something last night and it's currently showing 6/7-6/8 for arrival.

Something I ordered on 5/6 shows 6/1 as the date it'll arrive.

Both of those were the cheapest shipping option. I do live in California though. So, subtract a week if you live on the east coast.

If I order from Amazon.co.jp though, they get to my house in under a week. I have a bunch of Nepros and Koken stuff now as a result too.
