Hello,

I've been thinking of picking up a set of combination ratcheting spanners and because I work with stahlwille at work I was thinking of getting the "open ratch 17".

Now I've read here and there that they might not be produced in germany.

But on their site they state the following:

Throughout the production process, we place emphasis on ecological compatibility and protection of our environment. Raw materials from local sources and shorter transport distances for their delivery are essential. And that's not all: STAHLWILLE manufactures its products exclusively in German production facilities.

Our entire range of tightening tools is manufactured throughout the production process, from the forging blank through to the finished product, in our own production facilities.

Anyone got any input on this?

Greeting!
Nin

looks like a nice tool. maybe some small components are produced in countries other than Germany but I would wager the main forged piece is German.

If you like Stahlwille, however, I wouldn't per se worry about COO

the ergonomics matter, and sometimes even just the familiarity is also useful.

I'd try to get a set in hand to see how you like them

and to make sure the hardness of the steel is what you expect

german stahlwille are generally believed to have harder than normal tool steel

Thanks for the input!

Anyone has these and could provide me with some photos from the front and back? I can only find photos of the front.

Cheers,
Nin
