Hey guys just wondering if any of you would know where to purchase a Stahlwille wrench roll for metric 13 series spanners, also needs to be posted to Australia. Am also really interested in purchasing a Stahlwille tool box/chest but cannot find any thing over here and likewise would need to be shipped to Melbourne, Australia. Stahlwille doesnt list the boxes/chests on there Australia website but Im looking at the 94N tool chest or the 13216/4 tool box. Has anyone heard of this being done or done so before? any advise/opinion much appreciated.

Cheers
Sam

I would contact them. Just because they don't list it doesn't mean they can't get it.

Primetools have listed on their ebay page. I believe they have an account on garage journal.

Amazone.co.uk have the empty roll if you wanna try yourself.

I dont see either listed in the stahlwille katalog I have.

TBS have a 5 piece ratcheting set in a roll up.

Maybe look at the regular set minus roll.

Mind you, shipping is expensive regardless. But heaps of hot offers to offset.

Hit up the local distributor (tool chest), you would get a tax invoice, which could be claimed against for work purposes.

Start by going onto the Stahlwille website (the main one not the importers) and finding out the part numbers you need! in my experience, Stahlwille will sell you any spanner roll, box or spare part individually, and the spanner rolls are listed in the catalogue. There's a good choice.

Secondly, find any dealer you like and ask if they will ship to Australia. I suspect the U.K. ones will, but if you have a problem I find Warwick Industrial Supplies to be very good. (They also obtain their stock direct from Stahlwille, which cuts out a middleman and ensures it reaches you in good condition)!

The problem is, the further a tool has to travel, the more expensive it is likely to be, and shipping literally halfway round the world is not going to be cheap!

I really like Stahlwille, but if I lived in Australia I reckon I'd be looking closely at the Japanese makers. Do KTC or Nepros offer a box you like?

Yep have emailed a few places on E-bay re wrench roll, looked at a few of the KTC/Nepros boxes as well but looks like shipping is going to be outraegous. Come across a place here in Melbourne that sells the Toptul Pro-line chests these look like they may be the go so I will hopefully check them out this week. Well priced to.

Probably Taiwanese but they don't look bad!

I've been doing more and more work away from base, and I find that most of these boxes soon get too heavy to lift regularly if you fill them sensibly! Have a look at the Facom Jet boxes too.

At the moment I'm using a couple of ex army ammunition boxes, one with screwdrivers, pliers, spanners, punches and so forth, and another with a good selection of KoKen 3/8 drive complete with all the torx and hex bit sockets! I've ended up investing in a separate set of tools for mobile work, and I'm glad I did as I was forever transferring stuff around and still never had the right tool in the right place!

Pelican make a superb looking mobile tool chest, but you need to take the time to make inserts for each drawer to really make it work, and it looks like a two man job to lift!
