Stahwille 75° Double Box End Wrench

My G.J O.C.D. got the best of me.I studied and decided to try a couple of the German made wrenches.I got a 1/2-9/16 and a 10mm.-13mm.They come in an industrial finish.Its a matte type finish.Tool polishers might not like,but I wanted performance in a work environment. The broaching,angles,finish is great.They will be tough.The feel and balance is exceptional.The knuckle clearance is very good.I can see why Stahwille is considered a premium German brand.I was happy with the price,quick shipping.

The wrenches are nice design, the satin chrome is very durable and good balance of tactile grip and cleanability, lasts better than any polished chrome I had .

I've long drooled over those Stahlwilles but I already have a set of Protos and a set of Craftsman Professionals. Can't justify a third set.

I got the set of those up to 32mm last year from Amazon.de. It was a hassle as there were problems with the order and it took months for them to be delivered, but the wrenches are great. The deep offset has been the difference a few times on things.

I always wanted a set of these Stabil 20 spanners, but when I finally ordered them, some of the ones I got had off-centre broaches. Ended up sending them back.

I posted about that here, with photos, and some people reckoned I was being too fussy. Maybe I was, but I expected better from Stahlwille.

Flex-head socket wrenches can be an intriguing alternative to deep-offset spanners. For example, the Bahco 4040M. You can flip these straight and use them as a nut spinner.

The Stahlwilles will get into places that the Craftsman Professional won't as the offset angle is steeper. After having a few instances where the Cman pros wouldn't work, I finally caved.

In my opinion. Stahlwille is the world standard. One thing I can tell you is that TOPTUL considers them to be exactly that and that's why most of their stuff is a direct copy of Stahlwille. If you're going to steal copy the best.
