Stain and Sealer for Back Yard

Hi all. I need a stain and sealer solution for my back yard. It does not have to be the best thing out there, it does not have to last. I essentially need to make my not so pretty concrete, a bit more pleasing, and in time for my wifes B-day party in 3 weeks. It essentially has to last this year, because chances are, next year I will demolish everything and do real grass. Oh, and I really want to do this, just to see if my dusting issue in the basement is because of the damn 30x22 concrete slab.

Would be best if someone can recommend some decent local products. But being NYC, my main resources would be some small shops, or big box stores, which are everywhere. Thanks in advance.

The entire concrete slab in the back yard. It just looks like isht. All strange mix, and not quite uniform. Plus the dust that comes off it is a pain in the ***.

I have just built a whole new wood fence, planter area, swing, going to make an activity area for the kids, the works. I want to make the floor look sexier for the party. Also, it is an old slab, so the little pebbles and rocks seem to dislodge themselves quite often.

I was thinking of just tiling it, but it is too damn hot, and I don't have the time to work on my own house, lol.

Basically, I have a desire for a quick and dirty spruce-up for my concrete. Does not have to last, I will be redoing it later.

Been super busy, sorry you didnt get through.

You can use a cheap HD or Lowes plastic sprayer for both the stain and the sealer. This is a good solution for your dusting as the stain sits in a densifier base.

We send the stain and the sealer to you in concentrated form, add water, agitate and you are set.
