Hi folks....
I was wondering where I might go to find resources on preventing stainless hardware from galling in aluminum threads (hand tightened). Naturally I use anti-seize whenever possible, but i'm looking for things that might make good "alternatives" in a pinch. Until I can clean things off and apply the proper compound.
I just tried blue marine grade grease tonight... I'll bring in some aluminum permatex anti-seize tomorrow from home. but I'd rather find information people have already learned, rather than trying every possible lubricant on my own and learning the hard way.
