If the box is made in china then its not really worth it.

First off, I'm a made-in-USA guy. I know nothing about the box on eBay, but I do know about one particular made-in-China box line. I've got ten older Snap-on boxes which I bought and the largest Shark Stainless top and bottom set, similar in design to the one referenced, which was a gift from my wife and children.

As with any product and any country, there are varying qualities. The Shark Stainless, while made-in-China, is a true professional box. Because of its' giant size and wide, deep drawers, the SS box is now where all the regular working tools - wrenches, sockets, hammers, impacts - live. I've got it loaded heavier than the hubs of hell and no problems. The Snap-on boxes now handle all the specialty tools.

The only downside I've seen is stainless is a PITA to keep clean. Also short guys need not apply. The top bin where I keep all my wrenches is almost 6' off the floor.

I had the same exact piece of **** CSPS box sold at costco USA $700 ish. Mine simply fell apart. May be ok babied with light load, but way too many shortcuts in design. I would skip it without a doubt. I was thrilled to sell it for $600 after I made some repairs. It was a nice box in alot of ways, but between a caster crushing inward, drawer stops were week and bent back. Then the bottom sagged at the center vertical support causing all the bottom drawers to shift out of alignment. Just plain poor design and constuction here. Had the center support been in any way attached to the top of the bottom box It "may" have been ok. Perhaps it would even be ok it it was never moved. But it just sits there putting 50% of the bottom drawer load right in the middle of a very poorly structured bottom. I would call it a polished turd. Bad materials were not the problem here. Bad design and some manufacturing shortcuts were. I would advise you to scratch it off your list! It is not a professional mechanics box for sure and I am just a heavy home user. I could only imagine how bad it would be in a real shop enviornment.

Pretty bad when a box is so poorly constructed that it falls apart like this. Moving a full box puts alot of stress on it and this thing clearly showed it was not even close to well built.

I never liked stainless steel box's period. They always show every finger mark and after a while never really clean up well. Least all the one's that passed through the repair shop I work at.
