Stainless Top for Snap On 72" Box, Good Deal

I am feeling pretty good and have a 72" KRA that is the jewel in my garage. Keeping an eye out for addons I was able to find a 72" stainless top and got it for $250 which I thought seemed like a good deal? Had to drive about 90 min to get it but I like having it.

Now if I can just find a sweet deal on the mid and top my new "apartment" will be complete

I searched for months for an Ss top for my KRA, finally broke down and dropped $800 for one.

What's on the inside of those stainless steel tops? Particle board isn't it?

Yes.

Yes.

For that kind of money, you could go with a 3/8'' thick plate of cold rolled steel. Cold rolled steel looks like stainless.

I love SS but I could not swing it when I bought my last big, new box.

I had a cabinet shop build a piece of hardwood butcher block for mine and love it. I think it was less than $200.
