Do any of you GJer's have a Stair Lift installed in your home? Due to the big "C", the wife recently had her leg amputated below the knee. Until she can do stairs again when she's fitted with a prosthetic (6 months to a year), I want to install a stair lift. Since I have a landing at the top of the first set of stairs where the stairs then continue in a different direction, I need a curved stairlift. Any thoughts, brand suggestions, caveats? I plan on keeping the lift installed even after she can "do" stairs on her own (in case she has the occasional bad day), so I'm interested in buying the lift, not renting it. Thanks in advance.
