Wow that’s quite the assemblage of ads and photos. That Williams wrench is a beast.

First thing I noticed on the page is The Leader Pipe Wrench like I found back in August (GS thread post 5616).

Thanks for sharing Wrenchguy. This ought to keep alot of us busy.

I grabbed several screenshots off that site of interest to me. I think I have some version of each item except the Keystone adjustable.

Thanks for posting this link, wrenchguy. It's always fun looking through old ads, especially when you have some of the tools! :)

For example, this one, shown about a third way down the page on the right...

They may have been made by Campbell Printing Press & Mfg, but it was known as a BOYNTON's PATENT wrench, and that's how the earliest versions were marked.

I have an exemplar of his first, 364,749, issued June 14, 1887. Link to patent on USPTO site here.

Yeah, it's a neat page. What does "MVWC" mean, though?

Not all ads are labeled... its a work in progress. MVWC = Missouri Valley Wrench Club. I think its the oldest club of its type. I was a member in the 80's and 90's. I dropped out when my big "D" sale happened in 06.

Stans dad and mom put out a book called Rare and Unusual Wrenches in the 80's... kinda like the bible of wrenches back then. I mostly had ag wrench collection and the book moslty leaned in that direction.
