Not so much for total car projects, but it would be nice to have a stand alone shop for doing wood-working projects and all the other little things that living in the country presents. Curious if anyone else has such a shop with a wooden floor, and how it was constructed?

I have a 10x16 shed with a wooden floor - was the biggest I could fit on my property. It's an all- round workshop for light work and to hold my motorbike. Lots of options and some good examples here on the board.

We live out in the woods so any building up off the ground invites critters that try to dig under it.

They are also real nice because you can move them without to much trouble.

Keeping critters from underneath is a big issue. Either get it high enough off the ground where there is a lot of light and air under it, or you will have to have 1/4" square hardware cloth attach to the rim with hot dipped galvanized roofing nail and buried into the ground.
