Anybody have one of these? Got a 1hp 6” belt and guessing 18” disk sander for a really good price. Seems to be about the correct size. Already ordered this but looking for any feedback if I might need to strengthen/add gussets?

I have no experience with this brand.
My suggestion is to replace the unfinished MDF top and shelf with the laminated pieces cut from counter tops when sinks are installed.
Some Counter Top Shops will give them to you if asked nicely.
Also, use good nuts and bolts, with LocTight when you assemble it.

My bandsaw lives on one that’s similar if not exactly the same. I’ve had it 20, maybe 30 years. There’s not really much to it. It’s a stand. It’s kinda awkward to move around, I built a wheeled frame to stick under mine to make it mobile.

Look at these guys for some decent tools at reasonable prices for all sorts of uses in the shop.
I put a free (the best price!) HFT benchtop media blasting cabinet on a 2X4 frame and then a BORA set of casters to make it easy to move around the shop/garage.

I prefer nylock nuts since they still stay put but can be removed more easily when necessary.

If you don't plan on moving it too much, I think it would probably work fine as it is. If you wanted to really firm it up, you could assemble it, then weld the horizontal members inside the angle legs (kind of hide the welds), would make it very rigid. Of course the heat will burn off the paint in those spots, would need to repaint if you want it to look nice. I also like to add a piece of 1/8" neoprene between stands/pedestals and the tool, I find that tiny bit of cushion contributes to overall smoothness of the machine.
