Found this info on GJ:
Model 677, which was sold by Stanley as an edge tool sharpener, hence the 1725 RPM speed instead of 3450 RPM. The left side had a conventional tool rest, and the right side had a clamping and grinding attachment for plane irons and chisels.
Is is very heavy and the two piece pedestal is even worse
