Hello all, glad to be here. I recently came into a decent sized tool lot. My neighbors husband died about a month ago and she wanted everything in the garage gone asap so she could park in it. I was staining an exterior door over there one day and she asked if I was interested in a couple work benches and a drill press bc she didn’t want to attempt to sell them and the kids weren’t interested. Well those work benches turned into a huge lot with several antique and vintage tools. I was able to sell some early Stanley planes to a friend and I’m still going through the rest. To the point, Amongst all this beautiful stuff was a Stanley #86 rule tucked away in one of the tool boxes. I do collect certain antiques but this isn’t my field even though it’s beautiful. Where would be the best place to list this item if I do decide to sell?

Ebay, period. List it as bone, or just don't say what it's made out of. Collectors know what it is.
