This is right off of their website for Craftman hand tools: "To obtain the warranty coverage stated below said:like the warranty states: bring the blasted thing back to the retailer it was purchased from ... tell the store owner/manager You are not happy with the tool... that pawnshop retail manager is gonna get an earfull
but that is what the warranty says.
Too bad they didn't learn about warranty from a good, respectable company. and offer a 7 year- 70,000 mile warranty...A lifetime warranty on anything without stipulations? I think that is nuts.. How many decades or centuries should one expect a lifetime warranty be honored?
Guess Sears had a Better Idea..
Not to leave anyone out, the Craftsman tool can be used on a GM product if the need should ever arise![]()
