Walmart kit is different. More tools I. Count, but it's the typical stuffing garbage in to the tool count up. Amazon deal looks better.. Has 1/4,3/8, and 1/2 drive

I like Stanley tools. Amazon deal is less of a hassle. Screw Walmart with it's Black Friday that rolls into Thursday stampede.

I just checked Walmart's website for the 201 Stanley set and compared it to this amazon one. They both have the same Model#. Also right now it's also listed for $65.24 at Walmart site. They are both the same thing so if walmart does sell it for 49.99, that would be a good deal. Although you would probably have to fight with all those people in line. In which case the the difference in price makes up for the hassle lol.

Walmarts $49 kit is for more pieces and ships for free by adding an additional 1$ item and is available right now from their site... That being said it does NOT include any 1/2 inch drive sockets

Almost grabbed this but noticed in the reviews there is no 3/4" socket...

Grabbed a set from Amazon for just over $58 shipped. Planning on adding a couple extra pieces & it should make a decent set for road side repairs.

My Stanley set was the first tools I owned nearly 15 years ago. Even through all the fancy tool purchases I've made since, I'm still impressed with the level of quality at the price.

just got this set delivered yesterday, got it for a buddy since he missed the craftsman set.

Pretty nice quality, but instead of the 10mm wrench, there was a 1/4" wrench in its place. WTF? it isn't even supposed to come with a 1/4", so not sure where that even came from. It is a polished stanley though, so it goes in my spare box and I'll call Stanley customer service to get them to send the proper 10mm so he has a full set.

Anyone else see something goofy like this?

Edit: just called their 800#, super nice guy, sending one out free in 3-5 days...that's better than returning to amazon and trying to re-order....plus I get to keep the free 1/4" wrench!

I just got the set yesterday and I'll be returning it.

The 1/2" drive ratchet on mine is fubar. When set to go counter clockwise, it would reverse itself back to clockwise automatically when using it. Now I just lost all confidence in it.

Make sure to double check yours. Amazon only has a 30 day return policy.

Ratchet ratchet ratchet.

It is of poor quality. I opened it and didn't like what I saw. But for $50 a set with a nice plastic molded case, it is perfect for the vehicle.

I don't think they expect people to use the ratchets in these sets.

Pro/truck brands=sure but 15 dollar craftsman set and stuff like this? Nah.:willy_nil
