Here are some pictures after I refinished the wood.
(last 3 pictures, Last picture shows chip)
Sanded out and stained and refinished the top of the tote, removing the chip on the top of the tote.
Thinning the herd, Hate to give it up, but being on a fixed income, I need the money.
This jointer plane, (#7) is in really nice condition. Japan (paint) is very Nice!
Just needs a little touch up in front of the mouth.
Rear Tote, (handle) is solid, as is the front knob. Slight chip on top of tote.
They (the front knob, and rear tote) could use refinished or use as is.
If you want me to, I will even strip, and refinish the wood for you.
I may even do that, will update photos if I do,
No rust or pitting in the body, No cracks near the mouth, where they often crack.
Lots Of life left in blade.
Lever Cap in perfect condition.
