Guessing it’s a 5-1/4. Can’t tell the blade width, but if it’s 1-3/4”, this is has a slight chance of being your tool. A great user (if it is) But (if it is, it is ) a bit of a Frankenplane, that checkered lever cap is wrong, that goes on a transitional I think.

Edited, based on Fred’s post below.

I think it is a Stanley Four Square Jack Plane (lower end plane). Should be 11 1/2” long with 1 3/4” wide cutter. Manufactured 1923-1930. No model number cast in the bed. They came with that stippled lever cap.

I’m afraid Fred may be correct. I try to block those, and a few other budget tools like the Handyman line, from my frame of reference.* I was thinking the lever cap looked too long for a transitional plane, but that didn’t stop me from talking out of my posterior. Here is a catalog cut for said Four Square plane.

* from blood and gore Preface.

“The booklet also ignores the cheaper brands of Stanley planes. Remember, this originally was a guide for those guys who intended to use what they purchased. I can't, in good conscience, recommend that someone use a Four Square or Handyman plane over a Bailey or a Bed Rock. In my disturbed mind, Stanley's lesser planes were the first trickle of oil to grease the slippery slope of the decline of handtool quality, which now leaves us with the junk manufactured today.”

Here is a 5-1/4 I bought many years ago and have used a lot.
Stanley was notorious for inventing new planes for guys to buy--and most of the planes (except for the cheaper brands) were winners.
