I hate when people bring these up because then more people look for them... they are awesome, not quite channellock 548 level of legendary, but definitely in the running for top tools of all time.

Yes I agree. Ergonomic before it’s time! Timeless, classical design!
Attempts at “ergonomics” gave existed for at least 100 years or more.
Usually, there is a push/pull of manufacturing “ergonomics” and manufacturing ease and cost.
Also, some tool manufacturers in Britain after WWII tried to manufacturer “newer more ergonomic” tools, and had to discontinue the models within the decade, due to complaints by traditionalists.
Marples was one of these manufacturers.
Eclipse may have used the same designer, and some of those models are still in production. (I think David Mellor might have been the designer)
If one could get the basic cellulose extrusions, those older Stanley “ergonomic” screwdriver handles could probably be easily made on a CNC lathe.

One thing I noticed is there is a ideal ergonomic particular to each trade work/industry as well. electronics guys, electricians, auto mechanics etc.
