I'm not sure what your using them for but you might want to consider a lead blow ballpein. The Stanley, mac is USA made along with trusty cook and snap on.

One of the members here made a YouTube video on the trusty cook hammers check it out

I have the antivibe hammers (32 and 40 oz) and honestly I don't really like them. They feel off in weight in my hand. I much prefer my crappy craftsman wood handled ball pein although I'm sure my hands, arms, & wrists will prefer the antivibe in the long run.

Need to check out some of the others for sure. The Proto 'wood handle' is made in USA then.

The Antivibe hammer compared to the Trusty Cook ones would they have less recoil versus the Antivibe hammers?

Dead blows have no recoil at all

I have every proto antivibe from 8oz. to 48oz. They feel great in your hand, very comfortable to swing. The larger ones do feel a little off balance in your hand but not too much you can do about that. The 24oz. you listed is one of the better balanced/feeling ones out of the set. They certainly don't have the same feel of a dead blow, but as a ball peen, they are much better then the fiberglass handled hammers they replaced.

Thanks for the picks!

I am going to get the 16oz or 24oz first, like the design and less impact (shock) back through the handle. Have always used hickory handles, but want to try something different.
