Stanley Ratchet missing ball & spring

I have this Stanley Ratchet 89-818 that my kid took apart about a year ago and the ball and spring went flying. It has been DOA ever since.

The ratchet is brand new or close to it. It might of been used once or so.

Does anyone know a cheap way to get a ball and spring for it without spending $20.00 for a repair kit for a 10.00 ratchet?

Just give them a call and I am sure they can get you a kit or just send you a new one.

The ratchets, sockets, wrenches and other mechanics tools have a limited lifetime warranty that covers manufacturer defect for the lifetime of the tool. The warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, or normal wear and tear. The Mechanics Tool Set cases do not have a lifetime warranty.
