I was in Walmart today and noticed them setting up a new display with individual Stanley sockets. This is the first time I've seen individual sockets there. They are made in China. It looked like WM is seriously expanding their tool dept too.

Someone posted about that a few weeks ago.

Apparently some rural ones have been that way for a long time though

It does seem they are test running the idea in placeas like Threecow Idaho first.

Looks good to me to get it out to the public. Some of that is damn good tools for a casual user and good road kit stuff for anyone else. I fly some myself.

stanley tools are pretty good for the DIY guy.

i have a couple tools from them, mainly stuff i bought single.
their ratchets are decent, 1/2,1/4

and i bought a fatmax toolkit from their above average line, 95 percent of all depth and shallow sockets. std and metric. Im using them with a electric impact driver and so far noting is failed.
