I have some insulating to do.
The last time I did this powered staple guns had not been invented yet.
I am looking for recommendations on electric staple guns. What do you like?
Thanks
I own an inexpensive electric (plug in) stapler. I think it might be a "stanley" brand. It was just something I picked up off the tool rack at Ace Hardware for about $25.00. I used it to install aluminum radiant panels and insulation under some subfloor.
It works great on installing staples into new lumber. Bam Bam Bam...sinks them all the way in. It worked much less well on driving staples through thin aluminum sheeting and into the subfloor above. Really hit or miss.
I recently did some reupholstery and borrowed my mother-in-law's pneumatic stapler for that work. It drives staples 10 times better than my 110 V one. But...you need an air compressor.
So...I'd say any electric one you get will drive staples through paper into 2X4's...but if you want to use it later on for a tougher job you will be disappointed.
