Staple Gun

I had been looking for a new staple gun. My electric corded Stanley gave out a couple of years ago. I bought a standard Arrow T50 but it’s not as good as they used to be & my stiff hands have trouble with the spring lever.

I saw this one at Lowe’s & bought it a couple of months ago. Lever is a bit easier & the trigger option is great for awkward positions. Set to trigger mode, press lever any convenient way, then use trigger when positioned. Trigger pull is light & makes work a lot easier. Uses standard Arrow staples, easy to find. Paid about $30. So far so good.

That's pretty cool. How does it load staples? Open tray, or the long spring loaded pusher from the back?
edit: found it. Wow, I like. Lay-in loading, and two power levels.

Thanks for posting the video. I hadn’t seen it. I’ll go to YouTube & give good feedback there too.

I always liked the Arrow Powershot but the wife couldn’t stand it. Got her the carbon fiber DeWalt and she loves that thing. I’ll admit, it’s pretty nice.

I buy the standard DeWalt ones for the shop. They get stolen before they break.

Uh this is a cool upgrade. I find this especially appealing for running ceiling mounted wire, you really dont want to punch a staple through the wire. Pair it with the nose bit that lays over wire and its easy money.

Thanks OP

That carbon fiber stapler is amazing! Couldn't believe the ease on the hands..

I also have the Dewalt CF one & is the only one I use now.

Who knows how long ago I bought a common shiny Arrow kit in a case. Always hated how hard it was to squeeze the trigger. When the Dewalt CF one came out, I never payed attention to it, just thought it was a gimmick or something. Never would I have considered Dewalt for a staple gun.

Then one day I saw the Dewalt on sale so I decided to have a look at it. Couldn't believe how easy it was to pull trigger, and it's light weight was a plus also. I like that it can also fire tack nails or whatever that my Arrow can't, not that I really need it to but nice if I ever do. My Arrow hasn't seen the light of day in years.

I thought manual staplers were a thing of the past. :headscrat They always seem to be in with the leavins, at sorted estate auctions.

Don't use one much, but the electric Bostich model I have - click, click, click, was what I thought was the direction everyone was going.

Wonder what the battery guys are saying about your hose stapler? 😁
I thought about that when I posted.

If i used one even somewhat regularly, I'd probably have a cordless. It's almost too hard to justify purchase now, even using
GJ logic.

I bought my dad an air powered Arrow one year for Christmas. He loves the thing. He shot probably 15,000 staples through it helping helping my brother hang insulation on his house and garage addition.

I have the battery powered Milwaukee and I'm fine with it. For house wrap and insulation wouldn't a hammer tacker be the best option? For those I use Duo-Fast.

I never considered air powered. I picture it being really good for something like an upholstery shop, used mainly in a workshop & portability not being a main concern.

Powered staplers, whether battery, or pneumatic, or electrical, are wonderful if you have the batteries charged, or an air compressor handy, or an extension cord handy, but all of that can take planning, or require carrying heavy bulky supplies around.
A manual staple gun just requires staples, and the gun, and maybe some pliers to pull staples that don’t seat right.
